6 Months of Grief Project: Day 22

Typing Out the Grief

This is Day 22 of my #6MonthsOfGrief Project. To learn more about this practice, feel free to visit Day One, where I explain this project in more detail.

Through this Widow Journey, I have been reading a lot of published writing on other people's lives as widows. Some pieces are so wonderfully written and others make me cringe. It makes me think a lot about what I have to say, and how I want to say it. I love writing and it's always been a powerful, creative outlet for me. I'm trying to track my journey here on this blog, but also with some longer pieces that I am working on privately. What will come of these longer pieces? Could there be a book someday? I think it's too early to tell and too early to put any kind of pressure like that on myself, but it is part of this whole process for me.

I am very aware that this project can bring up a lot around yours or other's grief and loss, I will always follow every post with some online grief support resources that have helped me. Please feel free to let me know of online support that you have found healing in your grief, as well:
